St. Patty's Day Run

Well we thought we were going to get rained out again, but we have all been so tired of our trips being cancelled because of rain, we said we are going any way, and we are all glad we did.  The weather turned out pretty good.  Friday evening it only lightly rained, we still had a campfire and only knew it was raining when someone drove up and we saw it in their headlights.

Saturday it was quite nice blue skies and clouds, no more rain for the weekend.  Sat we set out to find the Boxcar a few Mines that Raymond had already programmed into the GPS. Well we found them all. One hid from us, for a while, but we found it, and we also found our way home. The desert was still green from all the rain and flowers were just starting to bloom. Sat night we enjoyed corned beef and cabbage and another nice camp fire.

Sunday a few of the guys went for a motorcycle ride while others went for jeep rides and some just took their time to pack up to go home.

It had been a while since we had been able to get out without the rain so everyone took advantage of being dry and having fun.  It was a great weekend!!!!
