MOAB 2005  March 19-26 Kathy Crook is organizing this great trip with 7 days of wheeling, and condo arrangements.   Here's the info from Kathy...

I have a competition the weekend we arrive - so I will need to be there by Friday March 18th.  The competition is on Saturday & Sunday March 19 & 20.

Depending on your schedule - you can come up with us on Friday or arrive Saturday and meet up with us.  Let me know what date works best for you.

As of right now, the condo will be reserved beginning Saturday March 19th (unless we have enough people to fill it up on Friday night).

The Jeep Safari will be going on this week.  We are going to be there seven nights.  Arrive Saturday March 19 and depart Saturday March 26.  It is a 700 mile drive - but you can go 70+mph after you are out of California!

The three bedroom condo sleeps 8 adults and the price is $225 per night plus tax.  It works out to be $31/person per night ($220 per person for lodging for the week).  The kids count as adults - but I think we can sneak 1 or two of them in.

As of right now, there are 7 adults and 3 children confirmed.
Condo Group
Ed & Kathy + 1 kid
Tom & Lisa + 2 kids
Terry F.
Jeff & Julie + 1 kid (waiting on confirmation)

RV Group (Spanish Trail Arena - 800-787-2751 call and make reservations asap!)
Jack & Lesley
Steve & Irene
Ken & Kay

I will probably reserve two condo's at this point - I can cancel 14 days prior if we do not need the second condo.

Please contact me and let me know if you are still planning on going!  I need to know soon so I can reserve the condo.

 CORVA

FosterDogs- YUM

Raymond and I would like to Thank everyone for all the donations and help for CORVA this year. Everyone does a great job of helping before during and after the event.  This year we donated to CORVA $701.00. This is a great job everyone and give yourselves a big pat on the back!!!!!!

  • The Bauers - Now have a new trailer to go with the new motorhome.  Hey, they can bring the Jeep and Christopher's quad.  Congratualations!!

  • Danny Davis - Well, he did it!  The Jeep made it out for New Years.  Ths headlights may not have been in yet, but boy does it sound god and it ran GREAT!  No Problems.  Ne is now working on getting the headlights and the taillights put in.  A big THANK YOU to David Castillo for all of the help especially in the last week.  He helped a few late nights to get the Jeep ready to go.

  • Ben and Linda Fakkeldy’s Jeep- Well, when Ben and Linda showed up at New Years and brought the Jeep out of the trailer we thought we had all ad too much to drink already.  Ben had one tail light up and one down, but he had been working on the fenders and one of them was not done yet.  We had fun with that all weekend.  Ben is also working on the retrofitting wheels to accept Bead Lock Rings.  He has done new front fenders, Rock sliders for the sides, and is planning fuel injection for a future project.

  • Rumor has it that Joe McFarland is working on his Jeep again!!

  • Scott Smith - Broke and axle at CORVA, but there was a fix close by.  A fellow Trailmaster, Jack Jr. had one in his Jeep.

  • Raymond Davis - New Years as we all know was quite muddy, and having mud on your headlights is not real good as Raymond found out.  He didn't see where the road was washed out coming back to camp and hit it going just a bit too fast.  Well, he bent the right front spring and probably other damage.  He hasn't gotten farther yet.

  • Terry Flood - Getting ready for Moab.  Putting the wide track model 30 in the front and also .456 gears.

  • Steve Foster - Broke his transfer case at New Years, but it always helps when you know someone that is coming out later.  A phone call to Scott and Jerry, and his parts were on the way.  A quick swap and the Fosters were ready for the trail again.

  • John Lewis - The Mutt got broken into just before New Years.  Stole the radio, and the tool roll.  The  Jeep engine was rebuilt in time for CORVA.  Also, recurved the distributor and voila, that high speed pinging is all gone now.  Next project is to do a proper wire job and add in an extra gas tank.
