Monthly Fast Factuals
Did you know that there are 92 know cases of
nuclear bombs lost at sea?
When you say "my back is out of whack"
what does it mean? Whack started life in the 18th century, it was probably
an imitative noise, or perhaps derived from the the older thwack. The
adjective wacky for somebody or something that is odd, crazy, or peculiar.
What is a "Wake"? Lead cups were
used to drink ale or whiskey in the 1800's. The combination could
sometimes knock someone out for a couple of days. (hey, sound familiar?)
Someone walking along the road would take them for dead and prepare them for
burial. They were laid out on the kitchen table for a couple of days,
and the family would gather around them and eat and drink and wait to see if
they would wake up. Hence the word "wake" was born.

Well, it's time to start working on those Jeeps, some one
there I know s thinking of some major ideas, let us know!
John is getting the Mutt ready for Moab.
Gotta weld in some axle braces for the Mutt, and hopefully get the Painless
harness installed. Still gotta get the windshield replaced in the motorhome.
Can't find anyone to do it though.
