Duck Tape or Duct Tape?

OK, which is it, Duck or Duct?  It's BOTH!

During WWII the US military needed a waterproof tape to keep moisture out of ammo cases.  J&J manufactured it, and because it was waterproof, it was called DUCK tape.  Of course it was good for lots of other stuff like fixing Jeeps, strapping equipment to clothing, etc.  After the war the housing boom was going on and someone discovered it was good for, you guessed it, joining heating ducts.  So, it was changed from military green to silver and named - DUCT tape.  Today there are lots of manufacturers of DUCT tape (and lots of different qualities from great to horrible)  The DUCK brand tape is manufactured by Henkel Consumer Adhesives and is known to be the most consistent in high quality.

Vince and Linda Bauer - Time to work on Vince's Jeep, he has a new Rock Jock, Dana 60 from Currie for the rear end.  Yes, it may see dirt again!!

The Askier Mobile - Danny is making the Dana 44 full width with a full floater kit in the rear. And, putting fuel injection in his V-6
